World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day was observed in the school with the objective of raising awareness about mental well-being and encouraging students to develop a positive and balanced outlook towards life. The day is celebrated globally on 10th October to highlight the importance of emotional health, stress management, and the need to support one another with kindness and understanding.

A special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion. Students delivered speeches explaining the need to take care of mental health just as much as physical health. Teachers spoke about various ways to maintain emotional well-being through healthy habits such as adequate sleep, regular exercise, mindfulness, open communication, and seeking help whenever needed.

Posters and placards carrying motivational messages were displayed to promote positivity, empathy, and self-care. Activities such as group discussions, slogan writing, and short presentations were organized to help students express their thoughts and learn simple methods of coping with stress. The importance of sharing feelings with trusted adults, practising gratitude, and maintaining supportive friendships was also emphasized.

The programme concluded with a pledge to be kind to oneself and others, and to spread awareness about mental health. The observance of World Mental Health Day proved meaningful, reminding everyone that a healthy mind is essential for a happy and successful life
