SVVK Observes the Day with a Meaningful Morning Assembly
Every year on June 12, World Day Against Child Labour is observed globally to raise awareness and inspire action towards eliminating child labour. At SVPK, this significant day was marked with a special morning assembly aimed at sensitizing students about the harsh realities of child labour and emphasizing the importance of education and a safe, happy childhood for all.
The assembly began with a thought-provoking speech delivered by a student, who eloquently highlighted the significance of the day and the need to uphold children’s rights. This was followed by a heartfelt group song titled "Importance of Education", performed by students, which beautifully conveyed the message that education is the key to a brighter, more just future for every child.
A powerful slogan, chanted by the students, echoed the spirit of unity and commitment to end child labour. The assembly concluded with a pledge taken by all students and teachers, vowing to stand firmly against child labour and support every child’s right to education, safety, and a joyful life.
The event served as a strong reminder that every child deserves a childhood – one filled with love, learning, and laughter – and it is our collective responsibility to protect that right.
