SRI VAGDEVI VIDYA KENDRA

To mark International Tiger Day, a special event was organized on 29th July 2025 to raise awareness about tiger conservation and the need to protect their natural habitats. The theme for this year’s Tiger Day was “Protect the Tigers, Preserve Nature”.

The program began with a brief introduction about the significance of the day and the alarming decline in tiger populations due to deforestation, poaching, and habitat loss. Students presented facts about tigers, their role in the ecosystem, and the current conservation efforts in India and around the world.

Highlights of the event included:

·        A skit performed by students depicting the impact of human activities on tigers and forests.

·        Pledge-taking ceremony, where all participants vowed to protect wildlife and support sustainable practices.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and. It was an enriching and informative day that inspired everyone to take small steps toward a greener planet and a safer future for tigers.
