SRI VAGDEVI VIDYA KENDRA

The Fast Reading Competition was conducted on 25th October 2025 in the school premises. The event aimed to encourage reading habits among students and to enhance their speed, accuracy, and fluency in reading. Students from Classes 6 to 10 actively participated, displaying great enthusiasm throughout the event.

The competition was held in three languages—English, Kannada, and Hindi. To ensure fair evaluation, judges were assigned separately for each category. Kamana Ma’am judged the English Fast Reading for middle school participants, while Nagalingappa Sir evaluated the high school English reading entries. Madhu Ma’am served as the judge for Kannada reading, and Jyothi Ma’am evaluated the Hindi reading competition.

All participants showcased commendable confidence and reading skills. The event not only motivated students to improve their reading abilities but also helped them develop linguistic proficiency and concentration. The competition concluded successfully with students gaining encouragement to nurture the habit of reading with accuracy and clarity.
